The Superstripper has introduced a new dimension into the preparation of floors for resurfacing. Manual removal of carpeting, tiles etc. is a slow and costly procedure, but now with the advent of the Superstripper we can offer a service that is ten to twenty times faster than traditional methods, so saving considerable time and labour - and time means money.
The compact but stable nature of this unit means that it is also capable of going through normal doorways with ease. Powered by propane and fitted with a catalytic converter to reduce fumes to a minimum.
Superstripper is capable of removing glued-down carpeting, sheet vinyl and vinyl tiles, ceramic tiles, marble, wooden parquet and plank flooring, special gymnasium coatings, membranes for sports halls, rubber bridge-decking and even asphalt for car-park top decks - quickly and easily.
Use of the Superstripper means that tough jobs can be done quicker and with a smaller work force, releasing your labour force to do other work.
Safety and the Superstripper!
The safety aspects of this process are considerable, with fewer work-related injuries, such as white finger and back injuries. The prospects of legal and insurance claims, and absences from work, are reduced to a minimum.
Remote Controlled Uplift of Screed and Asphalt
With the latest, up to date technology in remote-controlled Hydraulic Breakers, Superfloor offers a service that is second to none. These SuperPekkers have the ability to work in environments where diesel powered machines could cause problems with emissions and access.
Due to the extreme vibration caused by hand-held tools, continual breaks in work time are necessary, by law, to prevent “White Finger” syndrome. Contractors, therefore, need a much larger workforce to allow the operations to continue for a full day, and the labour costs on the project will rise drastically. The use of these remote controlled breakers will cure these problems.
The operator works with a Remote-Control box that has a range of approximately 100mtr. This allows the operator to take control of the machine, but stay away from the close proximity of the work area and any danger The SuperPekker runs on rubber tracks, which enables the climbing of stairs to gain access to upper floors.
They have superior power and performance than conventional site excavators, which allows long term use on demanding projects such as bridge deck and highway maintenance where time is always at a premium. Floor coverings such as Terrazzo and ceramic tiles can be lifted with ease; asphalt and screeds can be removed much faster and more efficiently than previously expected when using conventional methods.
With sophisticated equipment like this, training is very important and our operatives go through a rigorous process before they are awarded certification to operate the equipment.
